This Privacy Policy describes how Lakeside Holdings LLC ("Lakeside," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information in connection with the website lakesideholdingsllc.com (the "Site"). It applies to the Site only. Purchases, scheduling and payment are handled by third-party services identified below, which operate under their own privacy policies.
We collect information only when you choose to provide it: if you submit the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we receive the name, email address and message text you enter, processed on our behalf by Netlify, Inc. as our hosting and form provider; if you book a call, the scheduling information you provide is collected by Calendly, LLC; if you purchase a Product, checkout is operated by Gumroad, Inc. as merchant of record, and we receive from Gumroad the buyer name, email address and purchase details necessary to support your purchase. We never receive or store your payment card details.
The Site sets no tracking cookies, does not use advertising trackers or pixels, does not fingerprint devices and does not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone for any purpose. Traffic measurement, described in Section 4, operates without cookies and without personal identifiers. When you accept the cookie notice, a single essential first-party cookie and a matching local-storage value remember that choice, as described in the Cookies Policy; they identify nothing about you, are never used for tracking and can be cleared through your browser at any time.
The Site measures traffic using Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first measurement service. Plausible uses no cookies and stores no personal identifiers: it records aggregate page views, referrer sources, country and device class, and does not retain IP addresses in raw form or follow visitors across other websites.
Pages on the Site load typefaces from Google Fonts, a service of Google LLC. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives the technical data inherent in any web request, including your IP address and user-agent string. Google states that Font requests are not used for advertising profiling. Our hosting provider, Netlify, additionally maintains short-lived standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes. We do not use either data source to identify visitors.
We use the information described in Section 2 to respond to inquiries, deliver the newsletter you requested, support and document purchases, provide scheduled calls and engagements, maintain business records and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Where the law of your jurisdiction requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, for purchases, scheduled calls and requested engagements; consent, for the newsletter, which you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us; and legitimate interests, for responding to correspondence, maintaining records and protecting the Site.
We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the Site and the business: Netlify (hosting and forms), Gumroad (commerce and delivery), Calendly (scheduling) and our email provider for correspondence and the newsletter. Each provider processes information under its own published terms. We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena or court order, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property or safety of the Firm or others. Information may be transferred as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
We retain correspondence and purchase records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including business, accounting, tax and legal-compliance purposes, and delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
The Site is served exclusively over encrypted connections with security headers enforced at the hosting layer. Access to correspondence and purchase records is limited to persons who need it to operate the business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including rights under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended. We honor verified requests regardless of jurisdiction where practicable. To exercise any right, email info@lakesideholdingsllc.com; we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
The Site is operated from the United States and information is processed in the United States by us and by the providers named above. Where information originates in jurisdictions with data-transfer requirements, our providers rely on their published transfer mechanisms.
The Site is directed to business and professional audiences and is not intended for anyone under eighteen years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
